Residence Inn by Marriott Columbus OSU

The breakfast was very good. Many places in the USA do not provide English Breakfast Tea and cold milk and real sugar. These are essential daily items for English people. Tea can be ruined with half and half and creamer, so well done! The actual selection at breakfast was good and served all tastes. The reception staff were very cheerful and helpful. In particular Merry took custody of something I had a friend drop off and looked after it until I arrived.

Very nice, clean, spacious. Was allowed to check in early and was so appreciative. In the morning the breakfast staff, especially the more refined lady with glasses was such a pleasure. Very kind, attentive, and didn't mind my grandson following her around asking questions 😀

The location was great! Seemed like a very safe area. Surrounds by other well known hotels and a Bob Evans within walking distance. The property is very clean and well maintained. The lobby was nice with plenty of room for parking directly in front of hotel to make check in easy. Room was very clean. Nice kitchen with bar seating for two. Nice big desk with a window view. Swivel tv is convenient so you can watch from anywhere in the room. Comfy bed. Roomy bathroom was very clean with a nice bright white shower and I really like that the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were attached to the shower wall so no fumbling around with bar soap. Ironing board and iron in the closet. Great bar area and the fish tacos were good as well as the Northern Light cocktail made with elderflower liqueur. 10 minutes from Easton Mall which is one of the best indoor/outdoor malls I’ve ever seen. Also about 10 minutes from Ohio State University which is a beautiful campus. The indoor pool was tiny but I did see a family making use of it. There was a small fenced in basketball court in the parking lot which was surprising but there were bigger kids playing on it both days I was there. Great two night stay! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful room. There was a slight problem with the older carpeting in the room, but that was all. I absolutely loved the shower. Breakfast was excellent. Very pleased.
